Donna Conroy, M.S.
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Donna has 25 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience as both a Fortune 500 pharma executive and entrepreneur.
Her career has focused on bringing science to patients. First as a microbiologist, then at Schering-Plough, where she led sales and marketing teams and built a $1.2B line of business.
Donna operated a successful consultancy focused on using clinical data to answer complex scientific questions for pharma clients. It was during this time she began identifying and defining development’s longstanding challenges and coined the term Development Velocity (DV). Donna envisioned the first ever Development Velocity Platform (DVP), a technology solution that helps pharma move a therapy through development and into the market faster.
Named one of NJ’s Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs, Donna led SciMar’s acceptance into the Merck Digital Science Studio 2023 cohort and 2021 acceptance into Microsoft for Startups. She is a graduate of Microsoft’s prestigious Women in Cloud Accelerator and was named 2021 Top 10 Most Successful Women in Cloud Entrepreneurs.
Donna has a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and an MS in Microbiology.
Mike Conroy
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
With more than 30 years’ experience in technology leadership and engineering, Mike has helped Fortune 2000 companies architect, develop and deploy innovative solutions and emerging technologies to address business needs.
Prior to SciMar ONE, Mike was a solutions architect, enterprise technologist, and systems consultant with global tech companies Dell, IBM and HP. Mike is responsible for SciMar’s technology vision, application development and support teams.
Under Mike’s leadership, SciMar architects solutions for individual pharmaceutical clients with a global team of developers, UX/UI designers and administrators. SciMar delivers secure, innovative solutions engineered for performance, reliability and global scalability.
Joy Barclay, PharmD, MBA oversees commercial strategy, marketing, sales, commercial operations, analytics & insights for SciMar ONE.
Joy has over 25 years of healthcare experience including clinical practice, clinical research, consulting, and global commercialization strategy. She has a proven track record in brand launches, managing pharmaceutical businesses, and driving top-line growth for brands with annual revenues exceeding $10 billion. She has extensive experience in corporate, portfolio, and brand strategy across various therapeutic areas and life cycle stages, utilizing a customer-centric approach.
Her previous roles included senior commercial and strategy executive roles at Indivior, Gilead Sciences, GSK/ViiV Healthcare and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she led global & US commercial teams as well as cross functional teams to develop and commercialize portfolio assets across multiple therapeutic areas achieving significant revenue growth.
Her education includes an Executive MBA from Columbia University, a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Medical College of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She also completed a postgraduate fellowship in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dan Langille
Microsoft Partnership & Alliances Advisor
Daniel (Dan) Langille is a 20-year Microsoft partner ecosystem veteran and business development expert. Dan helps independent software vendors build with Microsoft. He excels at helping companies co-sell, co-market and build strong relationships within Microsoft’s partner community.
Dan is a former advisory board member for Women in Cloud (WIC), a community-led economic development initiative that supports female technology entrepreneurs.
Dan serves as Microsoft partnership and alliances advisor.
Ganesh Mani, PhD
Technology & Business Advisor
Ganesh Mani, PhD, is a pioneer in big data science and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Mani has a distinguished career in fintech, including two successful startup exits. He is an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Mani is day-to-day technology and business advisor.
Kathleen Hurtado, RPh
Clinical Research & Pharma Advisor
Kathleen Hurtado, RPh, is a senior pharmaceutical executive and clinical research expert.
Throughout her 30-year career, Kathleen has held leadership positions with Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies, national academic and clinical research institutions, and national and regional hospital systems. She currently is associate vice president of the Office of Research Administration for Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (acquired by City of Hope).
